Fatum SG I'll see what I can do ... out where small udon is you can get live lobsters sealed in styrofoam boxes you can check in as luggage ... personally, I like walleye the best ... cos the flesh is delicate like cod ... trout is too "red meat" for my taste ...
elindra SG what's the best way to cook a walleye? Steam it? Btw Fatum have you caught the Northern Pike before?
Fatum SG we fillet it, dust it down in corn flour and fry it with garlic butter .... that's all you need .... norther pike ? .... too many ....... it's one of the easiest fish to catch here .... cos they are so aggressive ...... but ehey are great fighters ... check out the fishing thread in SO for the pike on lure pic ... my pike tally this summer stands at nearly 80 fish now ...
elindra SG I wonder if walleye taste good beer battered I asked about Northern Pike coz MPB bought 2 I dunno how long they will survive coz the fish forums all tell me I need a chiller to control the temp of my tank. Yes I have 3 edible fish and 1 edible turtle in my tank
Fatum SG they are an incredibly hardy fish ... but I believe they do have a temperature preference .... they are a temperate fish after all ..... but the northern pike is like the snake head ... they can live for a pretty long time out of the water .... and you hear of ice fisherman having their pike revived after defrosting their catch indoors ...
elindra SG Seriously!!!! Talk about freshness!!! He bought them coz they were pretty but I told him he should have researched first because they grow up into monsters ><
Fatum SG btw ... don't put the pike in with the other fishes ... they'll disappear pretty quick ..... I have seen 10 inch pike attacking 6 inch lures before ..... and a 15 pound pike with a whole DUCK inside ... feet still sticking out of it's mouth ... they are very very aggressive .... and will eat other fish nearly half their size ...
elindra SG I told that to SO It's goodbye Bating fish then Though right now the Bating is double their size They don't seem very interested in the feeders we feed though though I'll see how it goes Maybe it's the warm water making them lazy
the Bear SG was helping my friend with extracting a bunch of tender specifications... holeeeee craponastick! he had the hardcopies from his source.. it's about 1 inch thick of A4 paper, printed on both sides he wanted the softcopy which i was helping him extract because i have system account... the thing was 800kB... MS Word document i was going "my condolences"
the Bear SG they are the fish equivalent version of pacman frogs.. well freshwater fish equivalent... the marine version will be the gulper eel
Wanda SG It's ok, dear. I don't eat shishamo too...the sight of the eggs is yukky enough....I don't have such a phobia as you do, though.
the Bear SG sadly, at beach road, the stall which had that, and fish guts.. and all the nice stuff has stopped selling it because there were few takers.. it now just serves the normal fish soup
Wanda SG Why you so like to gloat? When u reached our level, we can take 2 hrs lunch also, but we don't have to say it.
the Bear SG tare has been conspicuous with her absence.. hope she is okay because last night, she was complaining of a bad back
